The mocap looks great. But what exactly is the movie about? What motivated the human mercs to return? How is Quaritch alive?
shareI actually like that the trailer didn't give away the story. Avatar 1's trailer practically condensed the entire movie in two minutes, and left nothing to the imagination. Granted the movie turned out to be Dances With Wolves in space, but still. This one just gives hints on what it could be about - humans coming back and the ocean plays a part in it - and I like that. I wish more trailers were like this. The movie could still turn out to be derivative of other movies, but at least now there's hype on what it could be about, instead of just regular Jame Cameron hype.
shareIt feels so surreal that this is finally coming out in just one month. I remember when the sequel was supposed to come out back in 2014.
shareReminds me of that old game I used to play as a kid, Citizen Kabuto. Lots of ocean and bright contrast. This will be a hit for sure. You can tell once it hits your OLED tv's.
shareI've always been into sci-fi since the early 1980s and love Cameron's work. But nothing about this trailer and the idea of water being so involved makes me want to go and watch it, especially at the cinema.
