Will this flop hurt Vin Diesels career?

First of all I don't get all the haters who just bash on an actor because of the way he talks and acts. I liked Vin ever since I saw his first movie Pitch Black. I also admire his passion for the films he stars in and helps produce. Although I'm not a fan and never was of witches, I wanted the movie to do well so it could further help Vin concentrate on other projects like his life's dream Hannibal the Conqueror. It kinda sucks that he is stuck to the Fast and Furious franchise since this was always his main box office machine. I believe Vin can open well other movies that are not Furious based cause his record shows he can. XXX was entertaining but not special, Riddick franchise while not being able to open well at the box-office, still managed to make money on home media and the games contributed to that. I think he should learn his lesson and not waste any of his time on films like the Last Witch Hunter and focus on his serious roles and hire good directors for films like Kojak, Hannibal. He should prioritize those roles over another Fast 8 and XXX3. HANNIBAL AND KOJAK have a good potential to be huge hits if given the right director and script

When's the last time an action actor was finished because he got a flop or even a couple? Hollywood has no imagination. As long as he's alive and willing, he'll make action movies, even if he's 80. Talent and numbers have nothing to do with it. It's media bankability.

Pitch Black was Diesel's first film? You're a fúçking idiot.

His first credited film was Strays (1997). His first role in a major film was Saving Private Ryan(1998). He also was in a uncredited minor role in Awakenings (1990) and the subject of a short, Multi-Facial (1994) about the difficultly of auditioning as a multi racial actor, which got him noticed by Spielberg and cast in Ryan.

No, he's got more Fast and Furious movies, another XXX sequel coming out soon, and he'll probably do another Riddick film. You can tell every one apart of this film had franchise in their sights as soon as they signed on to this but there was just nothing good about it, they just half-assed put it together.
