Or, think about after the sun dies, and everyone on Earth is dead. And as the universe itself heads toward heat death, ripping all matter apart (except for you, of course) to tiny particles and they spread out for billions and billions of years. You're just floating in darkness, alone, unable to breath, for eternity. Sounds good?

I for one would love to be immortal. But alast i am born too early for this technology and magic does not exist.

I guess a lot of people didn't catch it wasn't so much a curse she put on him, but more of a tether for her not to truly die. Kinda like Sauron with the One Ring or Voldemort with his Horcruxes/Harry. And it worked, twice.

Life would get boring I agree. Then after a few million years of boredom, the sun will explode and everyone else and everything else you know will cease to exist.
Unless we move to new solar systems then you will just be floating around space.
Even if in the future you can take a spaceship to a far off solar system, eventually, that system will also come to an end. No matter what you do the stars will all die, you will exist in permanent unending blackness, no sound, no touch, no nothing.
I'd rather die.
That's why usually supervillains are the only ones who seek immortality so they can hold onto their power because they don't care about anything else. Everyone else with a shred of empathy would go crazy.
