I don't get the hate

The VFX is undeniably beautiful but the trailers showed something great, but the movie turned out different that what most people expected. And w're tired too see the same old typical science fiction where they have to explain an hour long about their world, planet, era, fantasy etc etc etc. It dragged on and on and on, like basically the only thing they talked about was the facts of their world.

Example:

Person A: Who lives in that part of the Palace?

Person B: A band of misfits named Gandul, they used ti be the most greatest bla bla bla..



They add more groups, species, things, objects just to make the movies more interesting but almost all watchers are getting tired of this kind of thing.

I liked it but I thought it could have been better. The scope of it seemed massive and we're given very little backstory about this supposed Royal family of the universe or their actual business bar one product and that bugged me as I felt lost a lot of the time.

It also had issues with editing and pace but one thing I'll say is that it certainly has a lot of potential to be a great Universe of films if we could just find a bit more about the bigger picture.
