You've got some good ones on there. I don't know a whole lot about the decade and it's culture, but from what I do know, I'd love to see:

Detective J.J. Gites (Chinatown), Alex DeLarge (The Clockwork Orange), Don Corleone (The Godfather), Apollo Creed (Rocky), Blackula (Blackula), and The Warriors (The Warriors).

I know it's a dirty game, but it's the only one The Man left us to play.

Jimme Walker "Dynamite" - I like it.
Blackula has to be done - it's total blacksplotation.

Bruce Lee (as mentioned in another thread).

Coke's I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing (in Perfect Harmony).
Ouiji Board
Roots
And for the series finally - Watergate.

There is such a rich 70's canvas to draw from. I hope the writers think as vastly as their fans! I'm with dstich, Blackula is a Blacksploitation character that has to make an appearance.

You have offended my family, and you have offended the Shaolin Temple-- Bruce Lee

They need to do a Halloween special with Blacula, Blackenstein, and Dr. Black/Mr. Hyde.

Speaking as a late 70s born (79) Indian, I would have to say that my only nod towards the 70s would be Apollo Creed, and Lando Calrissian (I would love to see a Black Dynamite take on Star Wars! Black Dynamite would have to rescue Lando from hunters etc, and in the end as he leaves he meets Han when Lando and Han meet for the first time)...

Black Dynamite squashing the rivalry between the Brady Bunch and the Partridge Family. Seriously, it'd be kinda like the Michael Jackson episode but the Bradys and Partridge kids acting like straight up wiggers behind closed doors and having a turf war.

Black Dynamite vs. The Fonz.

Bullhorn meets DOLEMITE!

Pet rocks actually being alien invaders or multiplying like Tribbles, maybe even a meeting with the Star Trek cast.

Black Dynamite vs. Jaws. How many "Black people dont like to swim" jokes can they cram into that one?
