Wanted to like this so bad....

I love the rocky franchise, and Rocky 4 is one of my favorites. Saying this however, what the f was sly thinking? I think he wanted to make this film more serious...and doing so he took away some music and added way more dialogue with scenes that really didn't need to be added. With all the extra deleted scenes added, he ruined the flow of the film. I can't find myself concentrating enough to get through this without looking at my phone or doing something else.

That said, I think the remastering in 4k looks beautiful. Also I enjoyed watching all the scenes he cut from the original. Not because it made the film better though. Only because I'm a rocky fan. I remember seeing a video with sly saying how he gets a second chance at doing the film the way he really wanted it to turn out...I have to say while cheesy in some parts, rocky 4 is a very good film. Nothing had to be redone.
