all this hype surrounding ryan gosling is all up to his looks rather than his acting and screen presence. he was very blande in gangster squad. he looks cool but that's it.

You can't judge his talents by this film. He hardly had any dialog, and the direction wasn't conventional. He was restricted from showing any real emotion, so this will obviously come across as a flat performance. He looked a bit uncomfortable in this movie, but man did did he look the definition of 'cool.' And he does have intense screen presence.

Really emotionless in the movie. Just blankly stares.
But my god, I am not even gay or bi but he is one attractive man. Can't look away.
Many of the shots in the movie were devoid of substance but pure eye candy.

Ryan Gosling is an extremely good actor
if you look at his filmography though he really hasn't been in THAT much so I feel that possibly that makes people underrate him
she fell through a hole, and was never seen again
