Ghosts in movies like these are often seemingly invincible. Would there be any way to defeat the ghost if even burying her child won't do it. Ideas?

Learn martial arts for 5-10 years while exercise as hell to build up your body.
Kill yourself.
After you become ghost as well, hunt after her in the afterlife realm FOREVER!
