What was the scariest scene for you?

I'm thinking back to the first time I saw this, and 2 scenes stick out which gave me some soggy undies:

1. The guy pacing back and forth on the balcony, then appearing in the room on the same stride was brilliant and terrifying. I never hear about this scene but DANG

2. It may be the most cliche Insidious scare, but Fire Face appearing behind Josh does it for me every time.

When Joshs mother shows how of the old woman is getting closer and closer to him in the photos

There were a lot but I think the guy on the balcony was the biggest one for me. That scene was masterfully done, IMO. Like you said, the way he appeared in the room in mid-stride.

Another really scary part was the scene with the doll-faced family in the Further, with those creepy f-cking smiles. **shudders**

And the part where one of the investigator guys, I forget his name but it was the one with the beard, was taking pictures next to the grandfather clock and he got the ghost girl. I think it was the same girl who shot the family in the Further, come to think of it. Same psycho smile. Anyway I just about shat myself.

The final scene was scariest for me. In fact, ever time the old lady appeared, all my hairs stood up. Watched this on dvd the other night and decided, for some reason, to watch the end of the credits. Naturally, she just had to pop up again.

Thit and thpin!

1. The scene that creeped me out the most was the twin girls by the grandfather clock! Those creepy smiles and not even just the way they smile but the editing for the smiles was creepy.

2. The whole doll family scene (again, maybe because of the smiling).

3. The photos of Josh as a kid and the woman slowly getting closer and closer.

4. The dancing boy scene (the way he was standing in the corner and you really had to be paying attention to notice it).

5. The demon standing next to the kid's bed and pointing at him.

6. The man pacing outside the window and being behind the crib.

I've had many upon man OBEs and APs in my life, and whilst watching had a lot of heavy vibrations wave from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet and back repeated. After having watched it a few more times, I don't feel any of that but the part which still gives me chills was at the mom's house and the 'Tulips' song playing. And, as well as the concept of the witch working with the demon to capture their desired souls.
