I'm thinking back to the first time I saw this, and 2 scenes stick out which gave me some soggy undies:
1. The guy pacing back and forth on the balcony, then appearing in the room on the same stride was brilliant and terrifying. I never hear about this scene but DANG
2. It may be the most cliche Insidious scare, but Fire Face appearing behind Josh does it for me every time.
It seems alot of people found the doll scene family scene the most terrifying scene. Honestly it didnt do much for me i was like ?meh?
For me the balcony striding demon scene was fuxked and the fire face behind the dad that was fuxed too and finally the demon pointing at the kid that was also nightmarish.
Most of the movie wasnt scary at all though
Also the old lady was NOT scary at all not sure why u guys find her scary..

The baby monitor. Matches too closely an episode of Paranormal witness where a mother had ababy monitor in kitchen making lunch. First she hears one of the toys playing a distorted lullaby, then you hear something nasty shriek, "BUBBA!!!!" (the nickname for the baby). So when I saw that scene in insidious, nearly pooped my drawers lol.

For me, it was the dancing boy scene. They dragged out the suspense so much for that scene, it really kept me on edge.

The baby monitor terrifies me every time. Also when Elise had that mask on and the demon started cussing her out, lol. The scene in The Further with the creepy whistling family who got shot. That was unexpected.
Dexter: I would give everything to feel nothing again.
That FÜCKING demon standing in the corner. I watched this again yesterday during the day and didn't sleep properly at night because of that scene. Imagine waking up and seeing that next to your bed. God.
