Should have ended the show after Season 4's finale

Honestly that would have been a perfect ending to the show, Frank getting another chance at life but choosing to go right back to drinking and giving god the middle finger. The music playing in that scene was so damn powerful, that whole last scene of Frank and Carl by the ocean was so damn good.

Just imagine if the show ended after that, it would have went out on a really high note on its best season, and the show would have went down as one of the all time greats. But now here we are at season 9 and i just feel like everyone sees this show as a joke now, like some goofy retarded comedy that needs to be put out of its misery.

All the actors are leaving one by one cause they don't even have faith in the show anymore, Noel Fisher left, Joan Cusack left, Cameron Monaghan left, Emma Kenney is leaving, Emmy Rossum is leaving. Pretty much the only ones left after season 9 is gonna be Lip, Carl, Kevin, Vee and Frank and thats mainly cause those actors don't get much work outside of this show.

Its just time to end it.

I sort of feel the same way about the show. Even though Shameless was pretty much an instant hit on television, ending at season 4 would've made sense. Some things just aren't meant to last.

Your right it is, season 5 when all the characters just became ridiculous unlikable deb became a bitch. (Liked her on early seasons) Fiona a even more of a whore, lips iq dropped Ian became bi-polar. Carl went all black then went completely out of character and “normal”

The only good stuff happening now is Liam and Carl.
