I hope you're being sarcastic. This is the biggest load of dung ever. This movie tries too hard to be clever...tries to make scenes 'cool' when they aren't...and is REALLY unrealistic.
I mean...he's friends with the neighbors who win the lottery, and they try to jew him on the prices of the things he buys...even though he is unemployed? They don't lend him a hand?
The whole motor scooter thing and the 'free spirited young girl befriending an older guy' is pretty dumb.
Makes it seem easy to get funding to go to college when you're unemployed...its not.
...and he takes a stupid class instead of a class like computer programming that could land him a job in another field.
Julia Roberts was about as 'lovable' as a case of herpes.
Hanks does the best with the role...but the role is meh.
Dumb movie.
It's one of the greatest achievements in filmmaking.
