I know it sounds crazy.... but he did happen to be filming for Avengers or Captain America around that time, right? So maybe they had to build the character of Mike Weiss around his Cap physique, cause, that would be a hell of a lot of body doubling again, which in that case, you'd just have to get another actor.

Anyways...

I just want to know if all the damn tattoos are real! Lol.

In some milieu, including Hollywood, it happens. People keep a perfect image for outsiders, while doing a lot of drugs. Look at Colin Farrell, he was a drug addict for years, yet he was gorgeous and had a great body.

I saw an interview with Evans somewhere, and he said he knew guys like that who are health freaks, yet do drugs; he said that contradiction was one of the interesting aspect of the character, and I totally agree. People are able of the greatest contradiction in life.

Alcohol is a popular drug too. Abused way more than prescription or street drugs. Many professional athletes abuse both and maintain perfect physiques, during their 20's and early 30's, before the bottom falls out. Look at QB Brett Favre, both pills and booze. He did these while being the greatest QB of his era and is a first ballot Hall of Famer.
