Seems like this is going really under radar for a John Woo film
Haven't seen a trailer or any marketing at all

shareI've seen the trailer. It looks like moronic Hollywood producers have gotten their mitts on it and are ripping off elements of Die Hard in the promotion. They're doing their best to make it look like a derivative studio-hack cash grab.
share🤣
shareI just saw it and it is not at all reminiscent of Die Hard. It's much more in the vein of Death Wish or, to use a more recent example, Peppermint.
Also, the visuals and action are highly-stylized and definitely bear John Woo's mark. I thought it was a cool movie, though it's perhaps about 10 minutes too long.
Good to hear, sounds worth checking out.
shareThe story is very basic and straightforward, but the action is pretty good. Like I said, it's basically the Death Wish premise but with a light Christmas coating. (And I do mean "light." Christmas has very little to do with anything. The story simply takes place at Christmastime.)

shareA Christmas Action Movie might not be on the majority of people's watch list at the movie theaters. I'll try and make it to theaters soon to see it.
shareIt really has almost nothing to do with Christmas. I'm not even sure why Woo gave it any connection to Christmas at all. Maybe just as a gimmick that he thought might be profitable?
A true Christmas action movie would be Violent Night from a year or two ago.
It's not from a big studio. He promoted it with a bunch of interviews
shareJohn Woo’s not exactly the household name he used to be twenty years ago.
share@ 11 min Im out! Its that bad.
