So...what happened with airbnb? (spoilers)

Both Keith and Tess were booked at the same time. Justin said nobody was supposed to rent the place for over a month. Are we supposed to believe that Tess survived a whole month in the tunnels drinking milk?

Did other guests end up in the basement? Their belongings and cars disappeared each time and the keys were left back in the box? Seems very far fetched.

Also, renting a house that has a basement door which locks you in seems very dumb. I can see why the maniac installed it, but it would have been changed when the house was being renovated.

don't ask

reply

Yeah, right! One of many, many previously asked but never answered questions 🙄

reply

i was joking. there are so many plot holes in this movie.

reply

I know it and I know you know it. We've both, along with a couple of others, discussed that in various posts. I don't think I've ever seen a movie with as many plot holes and as much bad writing as this one.

reply

Exactly. Waaaaaaaay too many inconsistencies and holes in this movie to even bother with. It's truly amazing just how many the writer/director crammed into one movie. It's like he was going for a record or something.

reply

this movie can make a person's head explode.

reply

"seems very far fetched" lol.

What about this movie told you it was supposed to be anything but?

reply

^ one of the many BS moments

reply

Yeah, that was some really bad writing.

reply

My first thought was that someone was booking people behind his back and keeping the money.

Justin said nobody was supposed to rent the place for over a month.
Justin never said that. The only reference we get to Justin asking about his rental vacancy was when he was on the phone with the AirBnB rental management agent and she told him that the house hadn't been rented out "in a couple of weeks." So Tess had been held captive in the tunnel for about that long when Justin arrived.

reply

"over a month"

"in a couple of weeks"

Are you retarded.

reply

What is your problem? Justin never mentioned ANYTHING about the house not supposing to be rented for a month's duration. The only time reference regarding the rental was that it hadn't been rented for two weeks when he got there.
