None of them do. The last person I remember making something in the kitchen was Jenelle. Or maybe when Kail was making her disaster cookies. But I can't even think of anyone in the kitchen in TM OG. They all eat out or eat take-out.
And at least Maci has a better excuse than the rest, as she already has two kids with another on the way, goes to all of Bentley's games and runs their t-shirt company. The rest don't even have their one kid with them half the time.
Thank you, I wonder the same thing. I mean I guess those posters cook every meal and are the poster child for how you should be as a parent. Of course if she did cook, I'm sure people would talk about what she cooked and how its not healthy enough.
I'm just like who cares. It's not your kid, you're not the one eating the food. Same thing goes for counting each bottle of beer they have have on camera & complaint about their bee sign in the kitchen. Almost all of these things I never noticed until people on here started pointing it out.
"Sometimes what I type doesn't make any sense because of the iPad."— By Me.
A lot of people get on Maci when I honestly think she's the best of this bunch. I have major problems with the other 3. That thread about her drinking soda while pregnant is effin ridiculous. You'd think she was shooting meth with the way some posters were responding. In fact of all 8 girls, Maci and Chelsea are the only ones I don't feel sorry for or really dislike. With people like Jenelle and Farrah on the show, I just don't get the Maci hate. Maci has all her kids, takes care of them, isn't a bitch, isn't with a total jerk.
I actually noticed (I rarely notice these things lol) this past episode there was a To Do/Done board for Bentley. It's a little thing, but I think it shows she's actively parenting unlike a lot of the other parents who seem to treat their kids more like a friend or nuisance.
I think people just like to insult these girls. The things people criticize Maci for seem really silly for the most part, probably because she's not nearly as flawed as the rest of them. I just thought the take-out dinner thing is especially crazy since every single other mom does the same.
Well, awhile back when the show was first airing Maci was given a really good edit that painted her as a sort of saint. It was pretty aggravating given the fact that most people who posted on here knew she was out partying just as much as Ryan (she had a constant X on her hand during that first season) and pawned Bentley off on her parents all of the time for weekend get aways. She seems to have mostly cleaned up her act (though she definitely drinks too much when not pregnant, and possibly when she knew she was with hr latest baby) but back then she was super hypocritical. I think a lot of posters still view her in that light.
It's been stated several times that MTV will pay for the food when they are filming. That's why they all are going out to eat, etc all the time. It makes for a 'believable' reason they are talking about things. Why wouldn't Maci get takeout when someone else is paying for it?
I dislike cooking but I don't have any kids. However, prepared and/or take-out food generally has a high sodium content. I shouldn't be eating that way, but I still do. I was raised on prepared food because my own mother wasn't much of a cook either. Maybe the sodium content is part of the reason people get upset about kids being fed that kind of diet? (Disclaimer: I don't generally care how people raise their kids unless they let them run screaming wild, so Maci's mealtime habits don't matter to me at all.)
This never bothered me because I always figured they are on a shooting schedule and just want to get the footage recorded. For example, if the camera crew is going to be there 3 times a week between noon and six, they won't want to waste time waiting for Maci to prepare lunches and dinners from scratch (not good tv anyway) and would just order some food instead and talk about what the crew wants them to talk about - wedding plans, issues with Ryan, etc. I'm not going to assume that Bentley has never had a home-cooked meal in his life.
