I LIKED IT ALOT!

I watched The Dilema last weekend I was very dissapointed with it> I watched Just Go with It this weekend I really found it good. Jennifer Aniston & Adam Sandler were fantastic. I found myself laughing aloud through the movie. Jennifer is such an underrated actress , I really admire her acting skills and the way she has held herself in her personal life, Adam was really funny also , Both the kids are very talented, the movie really came together at the end. I recommend it> Lisa from LI...

The Dilemma has a conundrum working against it: star two actors who are largely known for their comedic roles in a non comedy. All in all I liked the Dilemma a lot after a second viewing. The casting should have been different, not about ability but about preconception.

As an apologist turned authority I don't defend my comments because I am always right.

I like Adam Sandler comedies. Most of them are undemanding fun. Some are quite good.

This is one of those movies, where it seems like they were making it up, as they went along. It's decent fun and a little annoying at the same time. The dialogue, at times, reminds me of Judd Apatow. I wonder if he wrote some of it.

Hi!

I agree I really liked this movie a lot too. While I didn't find the characters (besides Eddie who was great) that appealing it was still funny stuff. I just wish Adam Sandler would go back to playing losers again as that in my opinion was when he was at his best.

I wanted to see this movie at the theatre, but didn't get the chance. I just saw it on TV & I thought it was a really good movie. Everyone, except maybe Adam Sandlers 20 year old girlfriend, put on a solid performance. I thought the kids were funny. Jen was great. Adam was great. They had great chemistry.

I enjoyed Just Go With It. One of the few aniston movies not cringeworthy. She and sandler had good chemistry.

I've watched it at least 8 or 9 times.

I'm never going understand why people like this movie. It wasn't funny in the slightest and I blame Dennis Dugan for this, because he gives the film a slow pace that it didn't need. This not only made the movie feel longer than it needed to be, but it pretty much killed every joke. Not that the material was good in the first place (from the little girl's annoying fake british accent to the various *beep* jokes and other tired gags). Doesn't help that the plot is built entirely around a contrivance. Remember that Palmer said that she could tell when Sandler was telling a lie, yet in a later scene she can't see through his completely transparent lie about having a wife. Then there's the fact that they go to Hawaii for no damn reason and waste everyone's time. And I know you'll say "But they went to Hawaii because the little boy wanted to swim with the dolphins", but I'd like to remind you that he later says that he couldn't swim, meaning that they to Hawaii for no damn reason. Worst of all is that the moment when Sandler decides to tell Palmer the truth happens OFF-CAMERA, which is inexcusable, as it was the scene that the movie built towards. All told, this movie is completely terrible and it baffles me that people actually find it funny.

I like it as well. I have watched it 3 times since buying it a few weeks ago. For me, it has "rewatchability" (for want of a better word). It was several scenes that make me laugh out loud...more so on rewatching than even the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed the kid actors in it...I often don't like child actors, but I thought these were funny...especially the girl. Her (obviously intended to be) FAKE British accent was hilarious.
