Amazing chemistry

Did anyone else think Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston had amazing chemistry in this? Completely unexpected for me, I never would have expected those 2 to have such great on-screen chemistry together.

reply

In the real world, they are extremely good friends!
Certainly no stretch for them to have great chemistry!

reply

I didn't know they were friends in real life! That makes a lot of sense. And I agree with the other post about them being in a different kind of romcom together. I'll definitely watch anything from now on that has them together in it!

This movie wouldn't have been the same without them, that's true!

reply

another little tidbit: Jennifer was at his wedding in 2003! They've been great friends a very long time.

reply

Speaking of his wife, they both talked about her in interviews and the way they did makes her seem like she's Aniston's biggest kiss-ass.

reply

Definitely. For me, watching the two of them having what was obviously a fantastic time together was the only real saving grace of the movie. They were hilarious and delightful to watch.

Ah, so it's people like you that I have to suffer through this garbage for.

No fool, one must watch something to determine that it is garbage.

Aw did I offend you? If you are one of the people I described that enjoy the formulas of these popular movies, then you are the target audience that makes most of them as dumb as they are. Thanks for that.

What are you moaning about now? Did you enjoy the movie and it's celebrity-worship or not? You must have since you're still here.

Their chemistry could be better utilized in a more real world mature romcom, perhaps one in which they're already married.

reply

Agreed, I was wondering how they would be together and it turned out that they were the best thing about the movie. Adam is very likeable on screen, and so is Jennifer---genuine, funny and can deliver a joke without coming off mean even if it's making fun of others, imo. I think she's one of the few actresses who is a good counterpart with comedic actors---thought she was also good with Jim Carey and Vince Vaughn.

reply

I think Jennifer may have been my favorite female lead in any of Sandlers movies. I really hope they work together again soon. With the right material, I think the two of them together could do something special.

Who's Yehudi?

reply

Yes, absolutely great chemistry and a great looking couple. Sometimes, you forget they were pretending to have been married. I'd like to see more from both Adam and Jennifer - together would be nice.

reply

Yes....just watched it....great performance by both....great film.

I was really surprised too! My mother kept telling me to watch the movie, but I kept putting it off because the story seemed kind of cliché. But then I saw it and was completely hooked with Jen and Adam, they made the movie really work for me. Definitely a great team working together!

Double post, my friend.

ASFan - have you seen Friends With Benefits?

If so, which one is better in your opinion?

reply

Haven't seen that one yet. Sorry.

reply

I think you'll like it!

reply

They won the Teen Choice Award for Movie Chemistry. They weren't there to accept, though.
