Maybe I'm not exactly a "kids" person, but I thought the kids were the worst bit in the movie. I was surprised there wasn't a thread made already, but maybe I'm lone in this?

If I were Sandler's character, I would not be able to stand these kids and would probably be some sort of a deal breaker in order for me to end up with Aniston's character. They were just so rude, scheming and most disrespectful kids, which I know was on purpose for the "funny" aspect, but in real life I don't see how anyone could love these children. Pity them because they don't have a father, yes, but it's not hard to see why they don't.

I agree the kids and the cousin were annoying. Actually, it was a crap movie all round.

I think they're acting.

They did awesome, both of them.

The lines were perfect for them and the direction was terrific.

This is one of the best HM Productions on film.

I've been around kids of varying ages, all my life. The accent thing, oh yeah, kids do that. They'll do bad accents, try to change their name, pretend they're a cat or horse, or a dog, or a princess, or pirate. They'll do it until their parents pull their own hair out, or until they grow out of it. It's fun for them. It's how they develop imaginations and socialize with each other.

In my opinion the actors did a great job of acting like kids.

It's a comedy, you are not going to get Daniel Day Lewis acting from too many people in this genre, let alone kids. You watch them, hope to laugh. From stuff that is genuinely funny, not forced. You want to gripe, gripe about that.

Bailee Madison is going to be a big star as she gets older. I was shocked at how good she was in Brothers. I am just like you though, I find kids in movies to be annoying in general, but the most annoying kid in the movie was Adam Sandler. For a surgeon who's been lying his whole life, the lies are so stupid. They are unbelievable lies that no one in their right mind couldn't figure out it was all *beep*

That daughter had to be the most annoying kid I've seen in a movie in a long, long time. I LOATHED that kid. Over-acting even when she wasn't doing the acting-within-acting Cockney bit. Horrible, horrible performance.

It's ironic that the character wants to be an actress but other characters mention that she doesn't want that nauseating "stage kid" manner, because that's what the actual actress Bailee has way too much of. Horrible. Become a doctor, lawyer or archeologist.....please.....
