Seriously, they called the kid 'John Thomas'? Did the writers/makers of this film just think John+Thomas sounded appropriately Catholic, or did they throw that in there as a giggle!snort moment?

Inquiring minds wish to know.

LOL! I didn't even think of that, but I noticed a lot of phallic symbolism anyway, which was actually clever now that I think about it.
