why does movie like this get ignored by awards & festivals?
The more times i watch this, the more Brit Marling's performance stands out (just look at the monologue parts where she told the astronaut story and her confession near the end). If you look at the oscar nominations of the same year, she is right up there. I know the committee cannot watch EVERY movies of the year. But do small budget movies like this just totally ignored or they are not even eligible for those competitions?
