127 hours and he didnt need to take a dump?

Did i miss something, he spent 127 hours and didnt need to take a dump. Sure one could say he didnt eat anything apart from 2-3 snacks he had brought with him but he probably ate something in the morning and before the day he went to the canyon.

And its a natural body process. Even if you have hardly eaten you will still produce enough to have need to take a dump. And we are talking here 4-5 days here. Even if you hardly eat you dont go that long without a need to take a dump.

Stress can bring on constipation... When I was a kid, my 'record' was 18 days... That wasn't fun. I also went 12 days without even needing to when in hospital; my body was preoccupied with worry about other things.



Apart from the other factors people mentioned above, you reabsorb a lot of water in the intestines, this process helps to form stool. Since he was severely dehydrated, it's not surprising he couldn't take a dump
