Blair Witch vs. The Conjuring 2 vs. Lights Out vs. Don't Breathe

All four of them were great. 2016 has been a great year for horror.

1. Blair Witch - Probably the 2nd scariest movie I'd ever seen
2. The Conjuring 2
3. Don't Breathe
4. Lights Out - I liked it but thought the plot wasn't the greatest.

Don't breathe is the only one slightly above average and that's barely horror.

The Conjuring 2 > Don't Breathe > Lights Out > Blair Witch

CG gore is the worst thing that has ever happened to the horror genre.

I didn't see Lights Out.

Don't Breathe was great for me. 8/10

Blair Witch was mixed for me. Maybe 6/10

The Conjuring 2 was abismal for me. 3/10

Didn't see Lights out, thought The Conjuring was pretty blah, thought that despite the kinda silly premise Don't breathe was a solid movie, but not really a horror.

My order (didn't see Blair Witch due to my HATE for the original):

1. Conjuring 2
2. Don't Breathe
3. Lights Out

IMO the trailer give away TOO MUCH of Don't Breathe & Lights Out!
