I'm more shocked at the fact that you saw it twice.

reply

Really? Just wait until I see it a third time later this week.

Thank you so much some how my friend missed seeing this and denies anything was there I needed these

reply

You friend saw the movie and didn't see the witch? I just saw this film and I saw the witch. How could one miss it?

Try getting a reservation at Dorsia now, you fucking stupid bastard!

reply

Honestly I have NO freaking clue. I saw the movie and I saw every single shot of her. I assumed it was really obvious so I didn't feel the need to point it out to him when it happened. After the movie I was like "You saw the witch right?" and the thing he thought was the witch was I guess what everyone was supposed to think was Heather? You know when James goes in that room and there's a flash of the girl? Don't ask me how he missed it. The thing is like 800 feet tall and looks like a moving tree.

Awesome, thanks for pulling that off! As I suspected from the brief viewings of her I saw, she does look awfully like that thing in the attic of REC, with a more reddish/brown tinge, not pale.

Bravo!

Nice

Under whelmed to say the least. She doesn't look scary, no thought has gone in to the design probably because she is only on screen for a few seconds but anyway..

It's all a deep end.

creepy

Creepy. But I don't think it's how I saw a picture of her when I was younger,

I saw this picture once, of when I wen to SUNCOAST at the mall... can't remember if that's the name of the store... was paying for something when I glanced at a fangoria magazine that was advertising the Book of Shadows and saw this "what looks to be" a visual of the Blair Witch project...

she was Indian looking, her eyes were taken out look like a skeleton, her hair was of dried dread locks, and her appearance was overall very much dead and rotten. Looked very simple... but horrifying. I somehow just glanced at it for 3 seconds before looking away and walking out of the store saying to myself how scary she looked. This was the first time I actually saw something very disturbing to the horror genre.

That night, I was quiet and I couldn't keep the picture out of my head. I had a nightmare of that picture that same night and woke up not wanting to go to bed.

Are you thinking of this?

Before the first one came out I believe two different figures were designed to represent the witch, this was one of them. Everyone seems to shít on both of them, but I honestly like this one. With the tension, atmosphere and build-up that the first movie had accomplished, I think if this thing was the money shot for a brief second, I genuinely believe it could've been pretty terrifying. With great make-up and the proper lighting ofcourse.

I do prefer that one over the tree looking one. Unfortunately the original film didn't have a big budget so it couldn't have pulled that off.

Dorothy: Another one to join us on our journey! And what are you missing? Batman: A sense of humor.

@Jigsaw_Expert: In my humble opinion, those incarnations of the Blair Witch look like something out of a horror-themed, first-person-shooter video game, if not something from the Silent Hill video game series.
