Problems with the film
). They didn't flesh out Adrian enough for the big role he would have at the end. Adrian kills two of the main villains (i.e. - Joe and the black female agent), and he infiltrates the building with Thursday. The problem is that the audience hardly knows Adrian. Before he shows up midway (and later has sex with the blonde sister), he was a non-factor. The audience didn't see the romance between Adrian & Monday, so the audience doesn't understand why Adrian would risk his life for her, for example. Overall, it just felt unsatisfying to have Adrian deliver such critical blows to the enemy.
). Cayman's idea was just too un-intelligent for a character that was, otherwise, very crafty and smart. Why would she possibly think that she could get away with incinerating children? And if you're going to incinerate children, why do it in a room with cameras, where any CAB agent could see what was going on? .... My impression is that the writers wanted to make the villains 100% nefarious, with no gray areas; so they threw this incinerating stuff out there.
). Related to #2 ... is it really credible that those agents and nursing staff would agree with incinerating children? And is it really credible that those agents and nursing staff would keep it all secret?
). The very idea that those 7 girls could live that way is preposterous. You're telling me that none of them ever let the cat out of the bag, not once, during their rebellious years?
). The CAB agents talk about how they need to keep it quiet. Yet they proceed to open-fire in the streets to chase the tomboy sister (the one who falls from the roof). They also kill the doorman at the apartment. ... You're telling me nobody made inquiries about these incidents?
