Delacourt. Medpod. Hello? (spoilers)

At the end Delacourt got stabbed in the neck and "died". Did they forget they had the magical medpod that can heal anything? I mean I'm sure someone would have come along to pick up her body and revive her but then this makes her "death" pointless so why are we supposed to feel anything in this scene?

The mom and daughter had to get to the surface to get to a medpod. I think Foster's character would have needed to get to a different room. They were in the armoury, I think. Even if a medpod were right outside those doors, though, the doors were locked. Frey didn't get out until the one goon came in to take her out.

A guy had his face blown off and look how long it took to get him to one with a full recovery also remember that one he used was located in the same place she was stabbed.

There are a lot of details there that would make a difference (each person's toughness, for instance), but I'd note the obvious augmentations that Kruger has that Delacourt doesn't. If Kruger has his brains encased in some protective, cyborg stuff, maybe he's got a chance? Other than that, there are stories all the time of crazy-bad injuries that aren't fatal as well as "minor scrapes" that are. Face blown off? Might survive. Nicked the wrong artery? Probably dead.

I feel like, in the film, we're seeing a few things that mean Delacourt's gone and Kruger isn't.

She knew she would be convicted of treason and probably sent back to earth. Assuming she was brain dead, she couldn't be resurrected. They only brought the African baddie back as his brain still had activity, he just had no face at the time.
