I know that you weren't being sarcastic:
"I for one love these "Is this movie OK for my xx year/month old?", there are some really creative original tales, and comebacks in some of these threads."
That's why I said:
"I thought that you liked these kind of threads" "I really am happy that imdb hasn't cracked down on these."
IMDb can't crack down on these threads unless they get reported.
"It was the Jack Nickleson threads that they had cracked down on."
That's because the users on that board are reporting these threads.
"As soon as I saw your message that these threads were OK, I took a chance and started one in Goodbye Uncle Tom, cause I had never done it before.
Don't get too excited, chaval, 'cause if somebody reports your thread, your thread could be deleted by the admids, if the reporter is convincing enough. I've seen very innocent threads that doesn't violate the T & C getting deleted just because some troll reported them. The admids don't have the time or enough manpower to read each and every single post that gets reported daily (hundreds of them or even more) to see if said posts violate the T & C, so they have to rely and trust blindly in the honesty of the reporter.
Mmm-hmm
