Is this the most beautiful(visually) movie ever made?

Yes, the movie had a lot of CGI, and people hate CGI. But… OMG, the CGI looks incredibly real and beautiful.

Yes, the movie was shot on digital cameras, and a lot of snobs believe films are better than digital. But I can't think of a movie shot on film that looks better than Dune, not even from Stanley Kubrick, David Fincher, James Cameron, or Christopher Nolan.

Christopher Nolan loves to declare how much he hates CGI and digital cameras, but none of his movies look as good as Dune… or Blade Runner 2049, Sicario.

Visually, Denis Villeneuve is the best since Kubrick.

Heat, Heaven’s Gate, Lord of the Rings, Casino, The Assassination of Jesse James, The Thin Red Line and about a thousand more.

but i'd probably rather be immersed in the stylistic sci-fi a/v beauty of Blood Machines (2019) at length than any of those actually
