Agreed. It's torture sitting through an episode. The laziest most unimaginative writing I've ever seen in a TV series.

Darabont and Mazarra did a good job but it all went to shit when they promoted Scott M. Simple to showrunner. Guy kiIIed this series and Angela Kang then buried itm

I lost interest starting Season 6.

Then I decided restart it. Honestly, Negan pretty much revived the show.

But then it fell off in Season 9. I finished it just being curious of how it ended.

People liked the characters, the situations, but even then its inability to maintain originality would prove its downfall.
