I loved the series but, I actually enjoy movies, shows and life. I suggest you try it.

I never read the graphic novel, but I think if this show was going to improve, it would have charted into new waters by making the walkers sentient, likrmr Tolkien's Orcs and Goblins with their own cultures, tribes, and kingdoms.

Night of the Comet played with this idea and it's one of the few post-apocalyptic movies to try this.
