So 2 straight episodes of characters wandering around in the woods

Thats honestly what we've gotten, we had Maggie and friends wandering around the woods the entire 1st episode back, then we get Daryl and Carol wandering around the woods in the 2nd episode.

Still nothing with Eugene and the others that was ambushed by the stormtroopers, which was the biggest cliffhanger, and now 2 episode and we get nothing on them. And we only got Negan for like a total of 2 minutes maybe in the 1st episode.

2: It is a bit lame, but not unexpected. These episodes were randomly tacked on, and they made it clear that Covid impacted production and so that these six episodes, at least, would be on a smaller scale.

So, yes, lame, but not surprising, and, whatever, still fun to watch

I really don't get why they even decided to make them anyways, the final big episode with Beta dying was a great way to end things until next season, we don't need 6 little mini episodes of 2 characters walking in the woods and talking and nothing being progressed in the main story.

Its probably gonna drive away fans, cause alot hated this Daryl episode and if all the rest are gonna be like that i don't see alot sticking around.

Agreed on all of that. It felt like a weak backdoor pilot for their spin-off.

I agree. I can't stand it when we get these standalone episodes only showing a few characters. If I wanted to see Daryl and Carol doing nothing I'd wait for the Daryl & Carol spinoff series. By the way, all these spinoffs have turned out to be absolute shit.

TWD World Beyond - Shit
TWD Webisodes - Shit
TWD later seasons - Shit
Carol & Daryl spinoff - Probably will be shit

Just want to see the MAIN walking dead series, as it once was.

The only episodes of these extra 6 that I'm interested in seeing are what happens with Eugene et al,and the Civic Republic people,and the Negan backstory one,which I think are the last 2. Those ones might actually be good.......

....maybe.

I wonder if they've run out of money. Wandering about woods for a couple of hours must be really cheap to film.

maybe with the COVID they could only have so many actors on set so they choose to do this single episodes with minimal cast?

I hope they get back to the Eugene plot. These wandering in the woods stories are boring as hell!!!
