I got bored when they were stuck in the prison for 2 whole seasons so gave up.

They have one more season (season 11), and they are done.
I just started this show on Netflix this year. I thought it was amazing in the first few seasons. The show fell off sometime around season 5-6, around the time they reached Alexandria. After Alexandria, the show never recaptured its former glory
Before they decided to extend into 6+ seasons, that was the original place they were gonna end the show. Walking into the gates at Alexandria where the inside looked like it was untouched by the zombie world.
Seasons. 7 and 8 are more interesting for comic readers, just to see how close the show is to the comics. Season 9 they have a new show runner, and pretty much overhaul the look and feel of the show to something at least better than before. New sound and photography in the last couple seasons makes it look more cinematic.
I stopped watching regularly when Glenn was killed-off.
After Carl was also killed I stopped watching altogether.
Exact same goddamn thing here ! It was already redundantly boring but I wanted to see the Administrator (or whatever his name.. he had an eyepatch) die. Once that was done, I was satisfied and never came back to the show. I can't believe they stretched the concept for that long and still have their audience.
shareI dropped out when Negan and the Saviors came in. It was the dumbest idea when they figuratively castrated Rick Grimes and made him subservient to Negan. The writing went to crap, too, with scenarios playing out that didn't make sense, and were there just to move the plot along. I think only the lamest diehard fans, probably thirteen year olds, are left now.
