Why is Siddiq transfixed by his mouth?
what was that about?
shareI was wondering the same thing. I was also wondering why he's having these troubling flashbacks in general.
shareNot sure what is going on. I barely watched last season other than to know several died in the end of it. Maybe I need to watch last season's finale again.
shareLooks like he has PTSD from all that happened.
shareWell now we know 100% what was going on with Saddiq. Every time he heard Dante's voice it brought back memories of the horrible night of the be-headings but Saddiq couldn't quite place what he was feeling until tonight's episode and now it's too late for him.
That was a shocker!
Thanks for that ... I was too dense to notice that. What I don't get is how a Whisperer would be happy enough of that life with that system and then turn against the people who are trying to bring the world back. None of this Whisperer shit makes any sense at all.
shareIt's just like any other cult where the cult leader gets members to believe things and do things that normal people would never in a million years fall for, including mass suicide, for example. Dante is obviously very loyal to Alpha and totally brainwashed by her.
I can't wait for the whole crew - especially Beta - to find out that Lydia is alive. It'll be Alpha's downfall, I think.
The weird thing is Dante knows. Was he planted before Alpha told the lie to protect Lydia?
Also Negan definitely know. He's already gaining favor with some of the Whisperers. He doesn't know Alpha has been lying about Lydia. What happens if he lets it slip? "Hey, by the way, I saved your daughter's life."
That's a good point about Dante, I didn't think of that. He probably was planted before Alpha lied so he has no idea that's what she's told everyone.
Good point also about Negan. I can't wait to see how all of this is going to play out.
HE CLEARLY HAS HERPES.
sharewhat does that mean ... and after tonight I doubt anything about Saddiq matters. I have to admit I did not follow this very well and do not get what is going on. Is the guy who poisoned the lady a "whisperer" or just evil, or what? What is going on there. To have Saddiq be this guy who underwent PTSD and then have his die without finding a resolution is bad writing. Don't give him PTSD for no reason or for a reason that has nothing to do with the plot of the show. This season, these last two seasons have been pretty bad.
