They had stockpiled guns and Eugene was making bullets. It's not realistic that there would be a problem finding guns and bullets in the U.S. especially in the South.

shareThey haven't used them since fighting the Saviors. For the same reasons as always, walkers - the only things they've been dealing with since then - swarm to the sound of the guns. Judith used Rick's pistol to save the newcomers earlier this season so they obviously still have ammo. I imagine Eugene will soon find himself busy again at the bullet factory. Because Carol isn't going to rest until Alpha is dead, no way is this peace going to hold!
