How should the show end?

the nuclear stations blew up and kills everything on earth.... the end.

I hope there's a happy ending, where all the people left form a new military and take control of all walkers, and they also make a cure for when getting bit, also give everyone a vaccine which allows all humans to not turn when they die

Just out of curiosity how did the comics conclude.Or are they still going.

Kirkman has always said that all zombie movies always end with "no hope".....he wants to do a happier ending.

I always thought it would end with old man Carl telling the story to his grandchildren of all the challenges they faced when the dead walked.

But I guess, I can just hope the comic ends that way.

I always wanted to see a happier ending for them. I had pictured Carl as an older man, living in a home, with his kids, and the world is kind of back to normal again. Maybe they've found a vaccine to prevent people from turning. Everything that happened in the past will be remembered in the way people remember the Great Depression or a war. They fought and survived but have to carry the memories of lost loved ones all of their lives. So kind of bittersweet.

And maybe a lingering sense that it could all happen all happen all over again..but ends with hope.

But now that's never going to happen because they've killed off carl and every other main character, leaving us with characters no one cares about.

I think it should end that everyone thinks Rick is dead, but the last scene of the series shows him being woken up in a stasis pod in the distant future by some hot cyborg chick and he finds out that the zombies are still around so he hops into a souped up weaponized Delta 88 and rides off to fight them with Space Truckin' blaring on the radio. That would be sweet.

You seriously don't know how it will end? Rick will wake up in the hospital where he's been in a Coma for 3 weeks since he got shot on duty...
