I just about lost it

Yelling at the TV about how STUPID the writing was when the stupid little kid decides standing at the fence just isn't good enough, he's got to open the gate and take that additional two feet to be on the inside of the fence. Of course everyone is going to get away, my gosh this stuff is so stupid. How is that piddley little fence keeping anyone in anyway?

BTW, as the Hilltop people on multiple occasions had 5-10 machine gun armed people open fire on a standing cluster of Saviors did they hit anyone? It seems like at best two or three dropped and the other fifteen just ran away. WOW.

Not to mention, where are the fucking guards or people at the outpost or ANYONE.
Did they just say: "Oh we just fought off the Saviors, might as well LEAVE the prisoners unguarded or whatever" ROFLMAO.

dumb kid is dumb

Coral used to be dumb like that. And now he's dead.

Hehe...the second that kid went to unlock the gate, I 100% knew that the prisoners were going to escape. In fact, I would have been completely shocked if they didn't escape, which isn't the way that I'd want to be shocked. What would have dropped my jaw is if the kid actually mowed everyone down, and created a Lizzy-esque kind of situation. However, it's been quite some time since this show has surprised me like that, and I simply don't expect the (awesomely) unexpected anymore.

And, yes, I found it very obnoxious that more Saviors didn't drop in those scenes (like the Kingdom troops dropped in a similar situation). The Hilltop had the drop on them so hard that it's annoying that ANY of them walked out of that alive, so it's maddening that almost all of them escaped.

For real, gun battles have never felt less dangerous than they do in this war. It's like every character fearlessly walks on to a battlefield as if it were a paintball skirmish - Oh, we know they can't shoot shit, no matter how close we get to them. Here, I'll show you by whistling in their backyard. See, I told you they can't shoot shit.

What's funny is that the Hilltop are going to win this war, but the way this season has played out makes it seem like it should happen by complete accident, or without their participation - Like, Eugene accidentally gets all of the Saviors killed in an explosion, or something.

This entire episode was stupid writing, the entire group of Saviors that had 3 trucks with lights on them and they just lost 3 Saviors?

And than at night, when they knew they had injured people, who could possibly die and turn, they let NOBODY take guard duty? Literally NOBODY was guarding the place??

reply

yes, ridiculous writing, all the time. my biggest beef about the Hilltoppers shooting, WHERE did all the ammo come from? huh? smh
