Still no different than when this season began.

"Cliff hanger"... big deal!
"Shocker!"... big deal!
NOTHING WAS WORTH ANYHTING WITH THIS FINALE!
The friggin creator is milking this bull shit now!
Yeah when Rick showed up on camera I was like, holy crap, it only took some 55 minutes for the main character of The Walking Dead to show up in this episode. Utterly ridiculous. What the eff is AMC doing to this show? Rick should have been in a majority of the scenes.
Agreed. it was 90 minutes of nothing happening. The writers have really mastered the art of anti-climax. It makes me wonder if they are stretching out this story line because they seriously think people like it or if they just have nothing left to sell. Other thoughts:
-So they managed to make Carl likable right before giving him the kiss of death. Unfortunately it comes at the 11th hour. Had they done it way sooner I might actually give it a shit that he is going to die.
-Slow-mo, ponderous, close up face shots are painfully pretentious. This isn't high art here, its just cringe worthy.
-Poor editing and way too darkly lit. I couldn't even see who got killed in Maggie's convoy. Also, Carls switching between hat and no hat near the end was nonsensically random.
-Was there any zombie's in this episode? I think maybe I saw one. Again, poorly lit.
-I still can't believe that this show has its own post episode talk show.
This show has become so joyless, overly serious and intent on making Negan's arc the never ending story that literally nothing happens from week to week. Z Nation may be overly comical and irritatingly meta, but at least it has lighter moments and plot progression.
Well he was at least selfless, and not irritating in this last episode. So he was more likable but I also said it was too late at that point to make me care one way or the other about his death.
