Anyone from the IMDb walking dead board here?
Or did they decide not to migrate
shareSpread the word about this board.
I remember you. You had the chimp avatar.
Yup chimp with a gun
shareI commented occasionally on Walking Dead. Just found this place.
shareI am - though I hadn't posted there in a couple years - not on TWD board anyway...it had been a long time since I received a positive response on there...nothing but crazy people saying terrible things just because I enjoyed the show. I'm hoping it won't be the same here...at least for awhile.
sharePresent and accounted for. I guess 8:00pm February 19th is the new February 20th. Just shows how little IMDb gave a shit about its members. Despicable.
Glad to know that I wasn't the only one that noticed that. I was preparing to say "farewell" to most people that I have talked to over there for quite some time and never got the chance to do that. The good news, however, is that I have managed to find some of those people on this website again, so I'm pretty happy about that part.
As for me going back to IMDB in the immediate future? I wouldn't count on it...not after how they threw us out like old garbage.

How do you know they're really the same person?
Some, like me, have already told me that they carried over their old usernames from IMDb, most of which I have been familiar with (on the old IMDb boards) for quite some time now. Some of their interests (TV, movies, etc.) are similar to mine as well, like how they were over on IMDb, which only tells me that they are indeed the same person. However, there have also been some former IMDb members that I knew that mentioned that they changed their usernames as well just for the sake of "starting new" if you will. To me, it is a matter of trust and understanding.
Ever since I switched over to these boards, however, I have loved every minute of my time here. Our community is very friendly here and so is this wonderful website's hard working founder, Jim Smith, who has been working non-stop at bringing us great new updates on an almost daily basis.
I thought it was weird they took the boards away early...I wonder how many people will still use the site - I would have thought the boards were the most popular feature and I have a feeling the sirptes traffic will decline now that they're gone.
shareGood. Screw them. It is a shame what they did to their users. Now IMDb is basically just a less detailed version of Wikipedia.
