Fantastic film!

I went and saw A Star is Born today. It was excellent. Bradley Cooper did a great job directing the film and gives a career best performance as a singer struggling with addiction. His singing is really good too. Lady Gaga is an Oscar worthy powerhouse and has wonderful chemistry with Cooper. The screenplay is very well written and we care about the characters, even when they break our hearts. The film is beautiful, powerful, and engaging. I predict it will get multiple Oscar nominations and that Lady Gaga will win best actress. I rate A Star is Born a spectacular 9/10.

No, they will definitely get nominated in several categories and win at least a couple.

For this year there will be 8 nominations in the main categories so they can squeeze Gaga in.

I first saw Lady Gaga in Machete 2 and thought why did Bradley Cooper choose to act with her. I know it was a B movie, but it was awful. I blame it on the writing.

Both stars were fairly good and it will at least get nominated for some major awards.

When I saw Rafi Gavron (Rez, Ally's manager) I kept wondering where I last saw him in something. He was in the HBO series Rome.
