This is a different Generation we're talking about where they don't dig big budget movies for the Summer anymore and instead, for them to actually pay good $$$$ to go to a theatre and see a movie, it would have to have the perfect "Hook" along with being Meme friendly and check all the boxes of DEI, which Barbie did and really, that's pretty much the gist of it.. As for a potential sequel being able to generate the lightening twice?? Doubtful..
