"Get Woke Go Broke" is officially a flop.
What's the next catchphrase? Something that accounts for Barbillions being made for woke movies like this one.

That a fool juggling a chainsaw didn't cut off his own hand TODAY, is no reason to feel comfortable about tomorrow.
Think of how many girls (past and present) have played with Barbie dolls?....it was hardly a surprise that this would make money, was it? (I had a worldwide built-in, ready made audience) It could contain any agenda (either left or right leaning) and it wouldn't matter a jot. The fact that it's leaning towards wokeism is the only worrying aspect, here (it's success was already established by it's mere 'brandname' alone)
Imagine if only even a small fraction of Barbie-fans went to see this (just once) it'd likely still make a fortune.
It'd be interested to know if anyone has actually seen this movie twice (above and beyond only saying such to wind up 'conservatives') I can't see kids wanting to sit through it again and again, and I'll wager the (inevitable) sequel won't do nowhere near as well.
Granted, I'm not the target audience for this...I would assume it's meant to appeal to kids...but (in actuality) is made for agenda-driven, perma-offended, feminist lobbyists?
Barbie is so HUGE that the wokeness or the plot may not even matter. I consider Barbie to be just as big as Batman and most people will watch multiple versions of Batman. Barbie animated movies have been introduced over the past twenty plus years and there have even been a few tv shows.

The anti-patriarchy message of this movie will work since many/most women love bashing men and complaining about gender inequality. I do believe Mattel will fail if they apply their woke messaging to products geared towards boys. Mattel produces Masters of the Universe, Hot Wheels and Matchbox. Disney got into trouble by introducing wokeness into brands like Star Wars and Marvel that are mostly favored by boys and adult males.
Yes, they took this bastion of white male privilege and turned it into a successful woke-fest...
... Oh wait - That didn't actually happen did it?
Logic fail by the OP.
Little Mermaid flopped as well as a lot of other Disney movies. Snow White will be the same so yeah get woke go broke is still relevant.
