Worst acting ever?
She can fight and is hot as hell, but my god the conversation in the car between her and the guy from the diner was the worst acting I've ever seen. Really a shame with the great cast in the his moving and fighting scenes.

shareYeah, but that was kind of the point. The movie is clearly supposed to be a throwback to 70's-style action films. The cheekiness is subtle -- it's not thrown in your face like a Tarantino flick -- but it's certainly there.
shareAnd its the reason why this movie didn't perform very well. Action films and the word subtle doesn't work in this day and age.
shareWhat did I take away from this movie?
The male actors were pretty good.
The style of the film left a lot to be desired.
The fight scenes were great, until they became redundant.
Oh, and an empty paper bag can act rings around Gina Carano!
People who say "Worst acting ever" can't have seen many films with bad acting.
shareI thought she was decent, apart from some scenes where she was very robotic e.g. just before her fight with Fassbender.
George Lucas talking about: 'Hey, give it to me, I'll fix it. I'll make 20 more of them'
I thought Gina did good, even more than good.
Her character never lost her composure and remained a professional for the duration, which was supposed to be the case. Excellent character portrayal by Gina Carano. She always seemed on top of the situation. She was relaxed and cool.
I really don't think (i.e.) Angelina Jolie or, say, Jennifer Garner could have done this part better, had one of them been offered the lead role. In other words, I never watched 'Haywire' thinking Gina should be replaced by any other actress. No way.
If someone wants to "bury" my remark by resorting to tasteless straw-men and BS, so be it. (Might keep this one for signature later on)
to be honest all the guys saying names like Arnold, Steven Seagal or Van Damme are right
this was nothing but an Action movie with a tough, hard as nails no take no crap from no one kind of character (Just Like the characters Silvester and Arnold play)
If this came out in the 80s I bet it would be a cult film, it would probably have a big following.
I am not even defending the movie because I hated the directing and the music.
but Gina was okay. I know she is not an actress and she was in this to kick butt.
AND that's what she did, I did not expect anything else from her, and she completely delivered.
