Worst acting ever?

She can fight and is hot as hell, but my god the conversation in the car between her and the guy from the diner was the worst acting I've ever seen. Really a shame with the great cast in the his moving and fighting scenes.

reply

Have to agree. No comment on her "hotness", but I was really surprised by the bad acting, right from the get-go (i.e., opening diner scene). Coming off of watching really quality acting (i.e., some of Fassbender's other work), the difference was painfully obvious. It was confusing to see so many good actors in such a poor film. No idea what happened to Soderbergh's judgement...

What about that rumor about Soderbergh putting any actress he beds in a leading role?

reply

good for him but that's not gonna make me buy cinema tickets I have seen better acting on a polish song clip

reply

and I'm not polish

reply

please please stop doing this kind of movies u too Steven Segal it's not worth it keep some fans for goodness sake don't ruin it choose something else other than boring us to death

reply

yes for me it's like Steven segal 2240 movie like

reply

She can act, but .... bad directing destroy this movie.

reply

Well, maybe because she isn't an actor? I think most people knew that going in, so their expectations were lowered on that end.

reply

I disagree. She was straightforward and somewhat 'terminator like'. I definitely did not cringe.

Also there is a bit of a double standard. Chuck Norris, Jean Claude Van Damme, Sly Stallone and ARNOLD surely are not GOOD actors, but we tolerate them.

Watch them and then watch Gina. I still think Gina is better :D

Dr. Kila Marr was right. Kill the Crystalline Entity.

reply

IMO she wasn't really doing any "bad" acting, it was more like she was trying not to fail. She was just saying all here lines "terminator-like" with almost no facial expression or intonation, in order to avoid poor emoting. It's not a bad idea, if you really can't act.

Arnold and Sly would at least TRY to show emotion, but Gina seemed afraid to fail, and so just went with the steely glare and the monotone.

I dunno, I'm starting to believe the rumours about Soderberg putting his girlfriend in a movie.

reply

In other words, she went to the Michelle Rodriguez School of Acting?

Well, back to MMA for her. At least she can get a few paydays from Cyborg and Rousey...if she can make weight.

reply

Sly? Dafug!

Rocky, Rambo: first Blood, Cop Land, etc.

The guy may be an action movie star mostly but give him a meaty role and he's great 10 out of 10 times.

reply

You're right about Sly. he is a bit of an enigma. He can do some great work. But stuff like Cobra? Even a movie I LOVE like Demolition man, his acting was so-so at best. The 'breakdown' scene in First Blood was hysterically bad. He does best when his emotions aren't broad and dramatic. I do admit he's more talented in the acting department than the other action stars I listed. :D

Dr. Kila Marr was right. Kill the Crystalline Entity.

reply

I don't tolerate them. Those are all fine examples of actors that I avoid :)

reply

I've see better acting in North Korean brainwashing films.

reply

You clearly have yet to see a Paul Walker, Steven Seagal, or Jean Claude Van Damme film!

reply

If THIS was the worst acting you've seen OP...then you haven't watched enough films.

Is Carano going to win an Oscar?
No.
But she'll be good in the type of martial arts, a*s-kicking roles they'll put her in...
Nuff said...

Bad films are a crime against humanity.
