Wouldn't this be Halloween 2?
Since this is the sequel to Halloween. And how can you have 2 movies with the same name?
shareSince this is the sequel to Halloween. And how can you have 2 movies with the same name?
shareWell, even if you called it Halloween 2, there'd still be two movies with the same name.
shareSo...the sequel to this will be Halloween 2?
shareAre they even making a sequel?

It wouldn't be the first time. The Thing (2011) was made as a prequel to The Thing (1982).
shareTrue. But it is confusing and not just to the viewers. On HBO they advertised the 1982 Thing was coming on, complete with Kurt Russell in the credits. I turned it on. It was 2011.
shareThat just sounds like a fuck up on HBOs part. Most people will understand which one you're talking about if you mention the year or say the original vs saying the new one.
shareBecause McBride and company are a bunch of morons
shareThis has been the the third movie in the franchise named Halloween....if it was Halloween 2 it would be the third movie in the franchise named Halloween 2. They should have called it Halloween: 40 Years or something just to give it a different name.
shareYeah, yeah the rabbit!
