You think it will open up with the ending of the original with new footage?

Do you think we'll get a new scene added in after he got up after being shot by Loomis? and we'll see a new scene added in of him trying to get away but the police apprehend him.

That would be so cool if they did that, have the movie start with the ending of the original, we see Loomis shoot him off the balcony, he goes and looks and Michael's' gone. We then get a new scene added in that looks old like it was made with the original movie so it blends in with the original ending seamlessly. We see the police catching him and then it fastforwards to present day.

I would love it if this new entry opened up with the last few minutes of the original Halloween, original footage with Curtis, Pleasence and Myers. I adore the way Halloween II opens immediately after the first; the transition is seamless. To see the cigarette burns on the screen again if just for a few minutes.

Hopefully it doesn't just show Michael lying in the yard and police come and put him in an ambulance.

It would be cool if they simply find him in the morning casually walking down the road and arrest him without a fight. That is how they found him when he was a kid, it would give more significance to the date Halloween rather than Micheal is simply always switched on crazy whenever you run into him.

I think he will get up, try 2 go after Laurie once more until the police catch him, take him away 2 the Looney bin. Fast forward 40 years later n we find out Loomis died of old age n Laurie Toughens up 4 Looney tunes return.

I highly doubt we will see more 1978 Laurie or Loomis footage. Reshooting Myers is easy compared to an aged Jamie Lee and a deceased Donald Pleasence.

I think it likelier we'll get audio over the opening credits that will explain what happens in that transition. Just familiar voices shouting "He's gotten away!" "Get her somewhere safe!" That kind of thing.
