How many twists can you shove in a movie?

I thought i liked this movie, now that I think about it, I liked Sam Rockwell's scenes. I laughed a lot at his dialog.

Then at the last third of the movie it turns into a romance movie. I figured two of the twists, and then the music box comes out and she turns into a Manchurian candidate. Then the cop out ending. I don't really know what to think of this movie. I do know it felt a lot longer than it maybe should have been.

I thought the film was a terrible waste of a talented cast and a good director.

The screenplay was really bad, definitely too many scenes that dragged on for too long and the pacing was poor.

I like the cast and the director, so I guess I'll give it a chance anyway.

I enjoyed it. Go in knowing that Henry Cavill is not really the star and that the film is really about Sam Rockwell's and Bryce Howard's characters--and also that the film is intentionally absurd--and you should have fun with it.

Sam Rockwell's great, so that doesn't bother me.

If you liked Mr Right, you will like this too. I liked Argylle more as Mr Right.
