The Weeknd actor?

Nope, very wooden performance. Sad to see a supertalented person flop outside their realm. Like when Michael Jordan played baseball.

The Weeknd? What the F kind of moronic name is that? How 'bout "Next Tuesdy" or "Hump Day".

Jordan could only wish to be as accomplished as Danny Ainge

Michael Jordan stroked 88 hits for 51 RBIs in 127 games with the Barons that season. He also stole 30 bases, the second-best mark on the team, and hit three home runs.
The timing of Jordan's three homers - he hit them on July 30, August 8, and August 20, 1994 - serves as a useful illustration of how he improved in the batter's box during his rookie year.
Pitchers tended to attack him inside with heat, hoping to shackle his long arms and capitalize on the rustiness of his swing (there was a 13 year gap between Jordan's last high-school at-bat in North Carolina, and his first with Birmingham).

I thought The Weeknd gave an excellent performance, because he was so real.
In real life people are usually lethargic, whereas in TV they over-act and sound phony.
So The Weeknd gave his character the lethargic personality (and also showed extreme anger when needed!) so it felt like a REAL LIFE person.
