Lazy Writing;Thin Santa;Swearing

There were many 'asta la vista' dialogue opportunities that were left dangling and never fulfilled.

What's the deal with having a buffed Santa - the kids around me in the theatre were confused as hell. I though maybe it was an 'it's not OK to be fat' thing, but then they made Evan's child character a fat kid with no resemblance for some reason.
What was with Evans' Wife. He was WAY out of her league and don't seem like a natural couple.
Also, the slap contest?! SMH - kids were saying 'why can't he feel his face?'
There were around 7 forced swear words that could EASILY have been omitted. Not sure what they were trying to prove there - to be cool maybe?
But my Wife loved it, so I enjoyed it as well.
