sharecorrect. This version, they do have sex. However.... if you are expecting Queer as Folk, you will be disappointed. They don't focus on sex and they only have like 2 scenes throughout 7 episodes. It's very sensual & tastefully done.

SJWs who want Queen-as-Folk style television filled with out-and-proud "LGBTQ+ characters" aren't 'disappointed' in Encounter with a Turdpile at all. On the contrary, they're all over social media HEAPING endless PRAISE on this trash. That should immediately tell sane people who liked the source material to stay FAR AWAY from this "modernized" dumpster fire.
You really feel very passionate about this. Huh? At the end of the day, this adaptation doesn't erase the book. Actually what it has done is bring more attention to it. I've seen more people going to get the book to read.
I originally was not okay with the changes. Until I watched the first episode and I loved it. I don't want another rehash of the movie. The movie was good and a close adaptation but their relationship had them like roommates. I don't know about you, but I've never seen a straight man stalk another man begging him to be his companion. I've seen gay men do that and I've straight men stalk women.
I will say I'm happy it's not like Queer as Folk although I watched that too back in the day. That's not the Vampire Chronicles. It's sensual not graphically sexual. *Until to you get to Vampire Armand* but that's another story.
Didn’t the original book have that? I never read it but over the years people always talked about it like it did.
shareNo they originally can't have sex. However.... I heard in the last couple of books they can. Something about a doctor helping them with that problem.
Biting was used as a metaphor for sex.
In the show, I think they used sex to display that they are in a relationship in every sense of the word.
Thanks for the clarification. I saw the movie years ago and there was a lot of innuendo back then too.
