He was playing a guy with a sad past, why did he have to act like a superhero, like he always does!!! He thankfully didn't just play The Rock playing The Rock!!
shareIf this had anyone else but Hart I may have given it a chance. He really is one of the most annoying actors around today, not funny at all. He plays the same character in every film he's in.

I am sorry but I disagree.. I expected it to be awkward for Dwayne to play an insecure guy with a horrible past but he totally sold it for me. In fact, that was one of the movie's charms for me.
Also, Kevin did not go 'full mode' on the usual character we are used to seeing him play. There was a lot of restraint on the 'funny' in this one that brought a lot more realism to his character..

I liked the movie as well!! I don't understand the sudden hating on Kevin Hart!!! The dude is halarious, and he can pair up with just about any actor, and make a great tandom!! Get hard, him and will Farrell were great, to him, and ice cube in the ride alongs!!
Then weddings ringers, I would have never imagined Kevin Hart, and Josh Gad would have that on film chemistry!! Now this movie, with the Rock!!
The reason I think Dwayne Johnson acted different, was he was a fat/nerd/loser in high school, and even though he changed into a cia bad ass, he still has some of the nerdy weirdness he had in high school!!
Like ride along, the made a sequel, showing Harts character as a police officer, I'd like to see a sequel to central intelligence, where Johnson/Hart are agents in the field!!
Anyways Kevin Hart makes these movies in these two guy co-star movies, I don't see who anyone could out do him in the wedding ringer, and same with these cop/agent movies!!
Like the other movies his co-stars in ????????? on being a class act with altering yourself to allow the chemistry with the other actor your with!!
